96 Tests PN: B111427

Components:

45x Ab-conjugated beads (S4P3 - human LIF Ab-bead). PN: B111427A. One vial containing 100 µL of anti-human LIF conjugated to AimPlex Bead S4P3.

25x Biotin-detection Ab (human LIF Biotin-dAb). PN: B111427B. One vial containing 100 µL of biotinylated anti-human LIF.

Lyophilized Standard Mix-Human Group 3 Panel A, 8-Plex. PN: HG30008. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant human Fractalkine, LIF, TNFβ, VEGF-D, I-TAC, MIP-1α, MIP-1β, and TIM-1. Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.

Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying human LIF.  Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Human Group 3.  To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex NR Basic Kit (PN: P100001) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Storage:  2-8 C in the dark.

Important: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.

For Research Use Only.  Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Description:

Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (Accession P15018) is a member of the IL-6 cytokine family, named for its ability to induce the terminal differentiation of myeloid leukemic cells. LIF Is a glycoprotein secreted by epithelial cells, including those in the intestine, uterus, lung, and kidney. Among it’s many functions, LIF may act as an instigator for platelet formation, hematopoietic cell proliferation, adipocyte lipid transport, and hormone production. Recombinant human LIF may be able to improve the implantation rate in women with unexplained infertility. LIF is a frequently used protein by researchers for its ability to maintain the purlipotency of mouse embryonic stem cells.
