PN: B411120

COMPONENTS

45x Ab-conjugated beads (S5P10 - NHP IL-10 Ab-bead). PN: B411120A. One vial containing 100 µL of anti-NHP IL-10 conjugated to AimPlex Bead S5P10.

25x Biotin-detection Ab (NHP IL-10 Biotin-dAb). PN: B411120B. One vial containing 100 µL of biotinylated anti-NHP IL-10.

Lyophilized Standard Mix-NHP Group 1 Panel A, 7-Plex. PN: HG10007. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant IFNγ, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, IL-17A, and TNFα. Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits

STORAGE:  2-8 C in the dark.

IMPORTANT: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.

APPLICATION: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying NHP IL-10.  Can be multiplexed with other analytes in NHP Group 1.  To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex NR Basic Kit (PN: P100001) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Description:

Interleukin-10 (IL-10), also known as human cytokine synthesis inhibitory factor (CSIF), is an anti-inflammatory cytokine.  IL-10 is a cytokine with multiple, pleiotropic, effects in immuno-regulation and inflammation. IL-10 downregulates the expression of Th1 cytokines, MHC class II antigens and co-stimulatory molecules on macrophages.  It also enhances B cell survival, proliferation, and antibody production. Knockout studies in mice suggested the function of this cytokine as an essential immuno-regulator in the intestinal tract and, indeed, patients with Crohn's disease react favorably towards treatment with recombinant interleukin-10-producing bacteria, demonstrating the importance of IL-10 for counteracting the hyperactive immune response in the human body.
