45x Ab-conjugated beads (S4P6 - human IL-12p40 Ab-bead).

  • 96 Tests PN: A111140A. One vial containing 100 µL of anti-human IL-12p40 conjugated to AimPlex Bead S4P6.

  • 32 Tests PN: A111140TA. One vial containing 35 µL of anti-human IL-12p40 conjugated to AimPlex Bead S4P6.

25x Biotin-detection Ab (human IL-12p40 Biotin-dAb).

  • 96 Tests PN: A111140B. One vial containing 100 µL of biotinylated anti-human IL-12p40.

  • 32 Tests PN: A111140TB. One vial containing 35 µL of biotinylated anti-human IL-12p40.

Lyophilized Standard Mix-Human Group 2 Panel A, 10-Plex.

  • 96 & 32 Tests PN: HG2009A. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant human G-CSF, GM-CSF, IFNα2, IL-1α, IL-3, IL-5, IL-7, IL-11, IL-12p40, and IL-13. Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.

Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying human IL-12p40/IL-23p40 .  Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Human Group 2.  To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex NR Basic Kit (96 Tests PN: P100001, 32 Tests PN: P100001T) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Storage:  2-8 C in the dark.

Important: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.

For Research Use Only.  Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Description:

Interleukin 12/ IL-23p40 (Accession P29460) has a molecular weight of 40kDa. IL-12 is a T cell stimulating factor and aids in naïve T cell differentiation into Th1 cells. It also mediates NK cells and CD8+ T cells. IL-12, by increasing production of IFN-γ which in turn increases production of IP-10 exerts anti-angiogenic properties. IL-23 is closely related to IL-12 in structure as it shares the p40 subunit. IL-12 is linked to autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis and inflammatory bowel disease though it may inhibit food allergy susceptibility. It also plays an integral role in the immunity against M. tuberculosis.
