  • 32 Tests PN: A112227TB. One vial containing 35 µL of biotinylated anti-human IP-10.

Lyophilized Standard Mix-Human Group 1 Panel B.

  • 96 & 32 Tests PN: HG10011. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant Eotaxin, IL-1β, IL-1RA, IL-8, IL-12p70, IL-22, IP-10, MCP-1, MCP-3, and RANTES. Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.

Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying human CXCL10/IP-10.  Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Human Group 1.  To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex NR Basic Kit (96 Tests PN: P100001, 32 Tests PN: P100001T) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.

Storage:  2-8 C in the dark.

Important: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.

For Research Use Only.  Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Description:

C-X-C Motif Chemokine 10 or Interferon gamma-Induced Protein 10 (IP-10) (Accession P02778) is a member of the CXC chemokine family. CXCL10 is secreted by several tissue and cell types as a reaction to IFN-γ and binds to CXCR3. CXCL10 may act as a cell proliferator or anti-proliferator, depending on which cell-type is being acted upon and as a promoter or inhibitor of angiogenesis, depending on a presence of the ELR motif. CXCL10 induces apoptosis in infectious diseases, but also may contribute to apoptosis during stages of development in the nervous system.  CXCL10 as a transmembrane and mediates in both adaptive and innate immunity. CXCL10 expression is recognized as a possible biomarker for many diseases such as psoriasis, MS, atherosclerosis, transplant rejection, and inflammatory bowel diseases.
