45x Ab-conjugated beads (S5P2 - human MIP-1α Ab-bead). PN: A112239A. One vial containing 100 µL of anti-human MIP-1α conjugated to AimPlex Bead S5P2.
25x Biotin-detection Ab (human MIP-1α Biotin-dAb). PN: A112239B. One vial containing 100 µL of biotinylated anti-human MIP-1α.
Lyophilized Standard Mix-Human Group 3 Panel A, 8-Plex. PN: HG30008. One vial containing lyophilized recombinant human Fractalkine, LIF, TNFβ, VEGF-D, I-TAC, MIP-1α, MIP-1β, and TIM-1. Note: If multiple analyte kits on the above target list are ordered as a panel, only one vial of standard mix is supplied for those analyte kits.
Application: Optimal antibody pair and antigen standard for assaying human MIP-1α. Can be multiplexed with other analytes in Human Group 3. To be used in conjunction with the AimPlex NR Basic Kit (PN: P100001) and a diluent kit. Refer to the AimPlex Multiplex Immunoassay User Manual and kit inserts for the assay procedure.
Storage: 2-8 C in the dark.
Important: Sodium azide forms explosive compounds with heavy metals. These products contain <0.05% (w/w) azide which with repeated contact with lead and copper commonly found in plumbing drains may result in the buildup of shock sensitive compounds. Dispose in accordance with regulations from your institute.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

CCL3 also known as small inducible cytokine A3 (SCYA3) and macrophage inflammatory protein 1-alpha (MIP-1a) is a cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is involved in the acute inflammatory state in the recruitment and activation of polymorphonuclear leukocytes through binding to the receptors CCR1, CCR4 and CCR5. CCL3 produces a monophasic fever of rapid onset whose magnitude is equal to or greater than that of fevers produced with either recombinant human tumor necrosis factor or recombinant human interleukin-1. However, in contrast to these two endogenous pyrogens, the fever induced by MIP-1 is not inhibited by the cyclooxygenase inhibitor ibuprofen and CCL3 may participate in the febrile response that is not mediated through prostaglandin synthesis and clinically cannot be ablated by cyclooxygenase. Diseases associated with CCL3 include chromoblastomycosis and HIV-1.
